This was my Archibald Entry 2020 of the beautiful Dame Lucette Aldous, prima ballerina.  She danced on the world stage for many years and has achieved an Order of Australia.

Unfortunately my entry was unsuccessful but I am very grateful to have had the opportunity of painting 'Lucette'.  In the background Rudolf Nureuv, whom she partnered as principal dancer, and her role model and associate, Margot Fonteyn took the stage behind her as reflected memories.  Her passion for the arts is inspiring.
